Keep honking....

I'm reloading.

Rage.... some days, I totally get it.

  1. Sponsor frequently asks me if i am harboring vindictive fantasies. i just as frequently say of course not!! today, i have to admit, with appropriate shame, this bumper sticker struck a chord in me. not proud of it, but there it is.

  2. :D

There is no shame in it, just temperate recall of the lines drawn between fantasy and its consequence.

  3. These days, if you don't occasionally feel this way you aren't human or, you sure as hell don't live in the city.

  5. you carry a lot
    you forgive a lot
my prayers are with you and the likes of you.
(if you are reloading, it is too late to help)

    a thought I like;
'you have obviously confused me with a person who cares'

  6. christopher- thanks for seeing the line!! i would not cross it, and i am grateful to be able to say it.
mr. c.-- it is the case that city dwelling is a challenging thing, some days. i find my workplace to be the site of most of my rages and rants. thanks for the comment
pisces-- agree, agree. actually, this was a real life bumper sticker that i saw on the way home from a particularly unspectacular day at work... it was a bit weird.
madame-- glad you can relate on the rage front; but i have to say, i would not go to the reloading extremes of the bumper sticker author!!
punch-- ah, yes, i have heard of that thought!! thanks for the comments and the insight.

  7. If you have to re-load you shot to fast or didn't have a large enough clip in the gun.

  8. hey, WM-- can't argue with you there!! but, after all, it was a bumper sticker on someone else's car... as big as my rage gets, i'm not at all sure i could use a gun on anyone.
    thanks for the visit

  9. New to Blogger. Stumbled across your page. Hello :)
I enjoy your list of interests. Experience, Expression, Learning, Yielding...? Human beings are such amazing little creatures. Always wanting to know more.
As for vehicles, I have a station wagon covered in Peace/"Liberal" bumper stickers and that seems to really bother people. Maybe I should get more.
