Being in the dating trenches once again, it all too often seems like the mere act of finding a partner is seen as a "fait accompli" -- and that's kind of how my ex treated our relationship, come to think of it. Gotta be in it for the long haul :-)

ReplyDeleteintelliwench-- well, if it's any consolation, this is marriage # 3 for me and i won't even go into all the other long term " adventures" that have transpired. partner and i made a commitment to risk... ya gotta be willing to risk the relationship to nurture it. so far so good.
