Haiku: Rock, Paper, Scissors

silver tongued light gleams
thrown stone skims smooth crease belies
a swift heavy hand

  1. hopefully, my boss' boss' boss will not find himself in this innocent little verse.

  2. Love this and the flow it creates

  3. Wonderful Haiku! I'm glad I stumbled upon your blog.

  4. The stone may have skimmed, but the water is deep - I love writing that means more than what it says.

  5. Linda-- how nice to see you here! hope all is well with you. thanks for the visit and the comment
Katrina-- thanks for visiting and for the kind comment. i took a look at your site as well and like!! shall be visiting more!
Punch- thanks for reading it out loud! how nice of you. thanks for the visit.
Pisces-ah, i see you saw what i didn't want my boss' boss' boss to see. thanks for this thoughtful comment. appreciated muchly!

  6. I also love the flow, but found the 'swift heavy hand' rather malevolent in its imagery.

  7. Madame-- ah, yes, that type of hand can be malevolent.... not that i am making a statement about my boss' boss' boss.
    thanks for the visit :))
