Somewhat oblique

seeing the desperate core
of who I am
at the heart of my strangeness
you ask(ed)
why
would you want to change
( it)
I suppose
I don't
when I am human
I cannot examine myself
as human
a dilemma of finding
words
to say the (in)between(s)

  2. My capacity to know is limited to this plane...the basic plane.

  3. Self examination can lead to some dark corners - go out and have a drink. Mind you, you will then end up in the company of others of the same species and attempts to understand them is like pissing in the wind :)

  4. jadedj-- thanks for this wonderful reminder of basics; and for the necessary embrace of limits.
Pisces-- I am a bit of a sucker for those dark corners; however, I will definitely work on avoiding the wind pissers..... thanks for the visit and the comment

  6. aporia- thanks for sayin'. i have to agree on the between not having the desperate core; i, on the other hand, oft-times feel as though the desperate core describes me to a t.
