Chapter 15

till your mud settles and the water is clear?
Can you remain unmoving

  1. an intriguing couple of weeks, of finishing and beginning, of wondering and waiting....

this verse from the Tao all of a sudden seemed perfect in its simplicity and pace.

looking forward to the writing that is bubbling its way to expression

  4. Mr.C-- i 'm not sure it ever gets clear.... i'm thinking one has to embrace the mud. or perhaps learn to play in it....
WM-- good one!! mud is a nice metaphor, all the same. and a nap is a fine strategy for stillness.

  5. I have heard enough warrior stories of heroic daring. Tell me how you crumble when you hit the wall, the place you cannot go beyond by the strength of your own will. What carries you to the other side of that wall, to the fragile beauty of your own humanness?

I would play in the mud puddle and too many people in the world being unmoving. but i do seem to always want to be different. LOL
