Ask a busy person

a beckoning
maze
can't faze a razor's
edge

no matter how
 crazed
and
dazed
the play's the thing
she stays
hackles raised
just a phase
malaise
weighs almost nothing
in the larger scheme of things
meaningless
praise
slays
the best of days....
feel the blaze
gaze
amazed

  1. wonderful opening.

Like the rest of the gamut before the razor took it all out. what good is that polite applause that is disingenuous? I'd rather be booed than hear that.

Mr. C. --you make a great point. that polite " no" is an intriguing tension to manage. thanks for the visit.
Garth--to quote a favourite source....perhaps i need some anger management. ha. seriously, work place seems to be quite the site of inspiration sometimes. thanks for the visit.

  5. I'm confused by what I read here because living is beautiful. I do remember days though before this poem of mine came into being the theme of my life:

"There was a time I had my mind
    play tricks on me.

I was so fine was I divine
    the trick was on me.

But, I was blind had lost my mind
    to a hell-sent worldview.

I thank you Lord, Oh Jesus Lord
    I forever praise you.

Because I was losing my soul
    Worshipping my brain.

No shame, so vain, losing my soul
    Totally insane..."
